Driftwood Memory Hut - Cape Perpetua

On a summer road trip in Oregon State and lingering at the rocky headland south of Yachats. A case of so much to take in and so little time. I avoided taking my iPad anywhere near the hard packed sand and gigantic basalt boulders of North Neptune Beach, and so the few sketches I made were just memory impressions. The freedom of pulling images from the mind allows me to not fuss on detail accuracy but puts the drawing in the realm of a daydream. The marks become more expressionistic.
