Botancially, the Williams Pear is cultivar of the European Pear (Pyrus communis) and is a less common name for the very common Bartlett Pear. Same thing.

Part of my Kitchen Paintings collection - a series of botanical subjects: fruits, flowers, trees, vegetables, and yes, even fungi, all back-painted on glass using old craftsman era windows as the support. The dimensions given are the outside dimensions of the frame, which is the painted wood window frame. The look of the frame is intentionally a lightly distressed state. Some side edges show vestiges of the window hardware indents. Frame has been sanded, repainted, and sealed, but again, with some decorative distressing which varies from piece to piece.
