Orbit Crossing 1
Orbit Crossing 1
This abstract composition is part of an ongoing series of pieces inspired by the history of cosmology and uses as a starting point the patterns and geometries of celestial bodies. The diagrammatic depictions of our solar system and the instruments that have been devised for the purpose of furthering our celestial knowledge continue to provide fuel for artwork that depicts relationships between bodies in motion and at rest. The works are in no way technical, leaving it to the viewer to determine the scale, whether it's meant to be inner or outer, and the nature of the relationships between the focus bodies. The painting is done on heavy weight (300lb) Arches watercolor paper, and the size given includes the border on all 4 sides. Piece may be displayed floating to show deckled paper edge, or matted, according to designer preference. Signed in pencil by the artist with the month/year. Unframed.
The price on this pieces includes shipping in a rigid box (flat), and insurance for the full value of the work.
