Volunteer Park - a monochromatic study

A monochromatic landscape, not from life but from memory. Intended as a study for a larger piece which has yet to be done. I’ve revisited this several times subject and will no doubt do it again. Volunteer Park itself is part of my earliest memories of Seattle when I briefly attended the Cornish School of Art in lieu of the second half of my senior year in high school. That’s what got me to Seattle, which has been home base ever since.
