Stump in a Box
A few months ago I got an inquiry for a wall sculpture from a designer in the Bay Area. She had seen the Mexican Wresters (El Azul) that I had done for the remodeled Nordstrom store in Corte Madera and had noted my name and info. Some 6 years later she gives me a call to commission a piece. I love stories like that.
This new stump piece will be installed in a California Mid-Century Eichler house in Marin County. I made it slightly smaller than the first one, only 51” wide along the base. I like painting the inside of the crate white so that the client gets a better first impression when they open up the crate.
