Alternate name is the Italian, ‘Mole Occhiali’, but I figured that the word for ‘pile’ would be too confusing since it’s spelled identically to the little blind burrowing animal. The hooked wire temples echo the lines in the hanger piece I first did to start this series (Hangers). 22” x 30’ on heavy duty (300 lb) cotton rag watercolor paper. Original will be available in the Gallery Store here on my website for $800. Prints available at various prices depending on size. Please inquire.
