Five Darts

Five Darts; R Williamson for Dwn Undr; 7/22, Bellevue WA

A hand painted wall graphic of five bright darts speeding toward their target. The view shown above is looking up at the wall from the bottom of the open stairwell. The existing dark steely wall provides a dramatic foil for the bright colors of the six foot long darts.

The restaurant features various games for patrons to play so the purpose was to both communicate the game aspect and also to direct people to the entrance, down the stairs, as it wasn’t always easy for people to see.

Using a simple paper template for transferring the shape, and Golden Fluid Acrylics for all colors.

The colored sketch below shows the concept as presented to the client.
