ExtraPlay Super - 1
The first relief sculpture intended for my current show, ‘ExtraPlay Super -1’. The show is closed of course, due to the virus, but I’ve been happy to continue the homage to my high school drum set. This quarantine period has so far been quite productive, I’m lucky to have this place to come to. Social distancing is just the everyday modus operandi here on the third floor of the Salty Dog.
This wide shot included to give an idea of scale. The sketch taped to the wall on the right side is a letter size page. The sculpture measures 37” wide x 47 ½” tall and about 1 ½” deep.
