Creosote

While in my third floor studio at the Salty Dog yesterday afternoon, I heard the sound of live accordions coming from down below. Cars going by with loud radios aren’t unusual but this was different. For one, the sound was staying put. The snippets of music and laughter drew me down to see firsthand there in front of the garage posing for a photographer were Jamie Maschler and Gabriel Rodriguez who play together as Creosote. Great name, great sound. Not the first time that our theatrical garage door has been used as a backdrop.
