Buddha Bowls
A couple more of the web illustrations for Baguus Little Asia. These may not really qualifies as a Buddha Bowl, I just like the sound of it.
When you’re drawing imitation crab meat is it the real thing? Real or not, their presence in this dish gives the composition the air of a mid-century abstract painting.
I kept the translucency of the the bean sprouts fairly high because I liked the effect of lightness that it gave the overall piece. Used a calligraphy brush for the noodles and then just embellished some edges with highlights to suggest dimension. Building in layers makes it easy to adjust.
