Blue Door Down
A new work on paper, most likely a part of my upcoming show in June. They currently run parallel with the paintings I’m doing but they allow my more graphic side to have a voice. The drawing of the trap door that gives the piece it’s title is taken from some graffiti where the wood was a real 2 x 4 leaning against the wall where the door and stairs were drawn.
As with others in this series, this piece is done on a piece of hot pressed watercolor paper (300 lb Fabriano in this case) and measures 22” x 30”. Titled, signed and dated in the bottom right corner within the composition.
