Glad to see this piece, ‘Untitled Stump’, headed on its way to a private collection in Hampton Falls, New Hampshire.

This was the first in the stump series, which is still comprised of only 3 pieces. It doesn’t seem all that large at first but the width is almost five feet it commands a fair amount of wall space. That flare at the bottom sneaks up on you.

It’s a theme that I enjoy revisiting so perhaps this sale is signaling time to do some more variations. Thanks to Kamela Daniels for displaying it at The Lodge at Saint Edwards Park for the past year.
