Monkey Carry; R Williamson Acrylic and gouache on canvas panel; 12” x 12”; 11/24

File under myth and monkeys. There is a story here and until I finish the second panel of the small diptych, I don’t know what it is. So this title is just a temporary stand-in.

The panel itself is 12” square. Still a struggle for me to work this small but it kind of fits the storybook quality of the imagery. Heavily derived from ‘The Garden and Cosmos’ show of painting for the Rajasthan Royal Court of the 18th century.
