Jungle Fantasy 1 (mural)
A fantasy jungle immediately conjures visions of the naive dreamlike paintings of Henri Rousseau, such as ‘Exotic Landscape’.
This composition leans into that vision but stays on a more botanical path, so no naked women lounging on settees, lurking lions, or sketchy tribal allusions. The dense foliage specimens thrown together here are often based on real plants but don’t fee the need to be true to their roots, so to speak. Keeping it loose and playful, much like the botany itself.
Part of an ongoing project and soon to be offered as a mural sized print. Shown in this mock-up as a wall in a home office setting but suitable for many other areas in the right dwelling.
