‘City Wheels’ is a painting on canvas done as a color study for an upcoming mural. Doing something like this allows me to hone the color palette and painting handling as I translate the digital rendering that I made for presentation to the client to a full sized hand painted wall. I’ve only recently started to look at these studies as an opportunity to make an easel painting that can stand on its own.

Canvas size is 42” x 48” tall and 1.5” deep.
