Chinese New Years poster for Dragonfish

Takao Kikuchi, of Seattle’s Dragonfish Cafe, asked me to do a new poster for this year’s Chinese New Year promotion. I started with an image I’d recently made for their Christmas Holiday, changed the colors to shades of red, yellow and orange, swapped the champagne glass to a carp and put a rat on the flag, and the poster quickly took shape.
