A recent experiment in water media and collage that falls in with the my current show; a deep, saturated piece - ‘Beat Kit in Blue’. Horiuchi’s High Hat has been extended through June at the Lighthouse Roasters on the north side of Seattle’s Fremont district.

They are such Covid sticklers that no one can actually enter the cafe space; all the action happens at the front door, and as a result, that becomes the viewpoint for much of the show. Most of the work is seem so obliquely that they might as well be blank. But no matter, the show kicked off this percussion/rhythm mini-theme and I enjoy using it to revisit media that I haven’t worked in in a long while. Size: 20 ½” x 28”. Images bleeds off all edges.
